Hi! I am trying to write a song for my boyfriend for our 2 year aniversary (which is a little more than 6 months off). I am having major writer's block. I have the rough draft lyrics all done and everything, but I have no idea how to get started. I mean, I've harmanized a lot of songs for Music Theory classes, but I've never tried to really create. Does anybody have any advice for me on how to start? Is there any method that works well for you?
